Coconut Hut Goodies + Lush Review

I got my Coconut Hut package yesterday! I was very excited to see my six sample body lotions, plus my new shaving cream. They also added two samples of body souffle and two fragrance samples, all in delicious fruity scents. Once I have a chance to smell everything again and test them out, I will post some reviews. Overall I am pleased and I loved the cute packaging with palm trees and little shells in the bag. What is even more amusing is that in between being told about this place and placing my order, my husband and I have decided to go to Hawaii on our much-delayed honeymoon. So I am even more excited to see what kind of fruity goodness I can find on our trip.

My hubby recently brought me back some Lush products from a business trip so I wanted to post a brief review:

Happy Hippy shower gel--This is a yummy grapefruit-scented shower gel that is citrusy but not overpowering. It's a nice scent to wake you up in the morning.

I Love Juicy shampoo--This smells phenomenal! I want to drink it. Yum! A really nice shampoo that I save for special occasions.

American Cream conditioner--I use this following the I Love Juicy shampoo. This is a subtle vanilla-y kind of scent and smells creamy and delicious. (Although I love the Juicy shampoo so much, I would love to see a Juicy conditioner too.)

Coconut and Almond Smoothie--This does not smell like the name, it is much richer and has more of a vanilla/ylang-ylang scent to it. I knew it wouldn't be overly fruity because I read the online reviews first but I was still expecting a touch more coconut action. I still like it but I will probably wait until fall to use it.

There's one more item that I haven't used yet, Skin Sin lotion, but I will soon!

New at this massage thing...

I scheduled a 30 minute massage for tomorrow (birthday present to me), and I was curious what a good price for this time would be.  The place I chose charges $37, and it was one of the cheapest I could find.  Is that reasonable?

How much do I tip?

I have a bottle of Clinique Stay-True Makeup Oil-Free Formula Foundation that's about 80% full that I'd like to sell. It retails for $18.50 and I'd be happy to sell it for $14, including shipping. The shade is "03 Stay Beige". The product is perfectly good, but I've completely made the switch over to Bare Escentuals mineral foundation, so the liquid foundation isn't going to get used again and I don't want it to go to waste.

Here's the product description:
Favorite of oily skins. Blends easily to a smooth, matte finish. Won't clog pores. Excellent oil-free coverage in one application.

I also have a MAC Foundation Brush #190. It's been used perhaps 10 times at most, although the wooden handle is very softly knicked from being pushed around with my other brushes in my brush cannister. I would thoroughly clean it with MAC brush cleanser before sending it off. This brush retails new for $32. I'd love to pass it along for $15, including shipping.

Here's the product description:
Pro-quality. A foundation brush designed to create even finish, flawless look. Works well with any M·A·C foundation, including Studio Fix and Studio Tech. . A professional-class foundation brush designed to provide a smooth, even finish, flawless look. Use to apply, distribute, and blend foundation into all areas in the face. 19 cm

I also have a half-tube of Philosophy The Present sheer makeup that I'm never going to finish up because I've switched clear makeup/foundation primer brands.

It sells brand new at Sephora for $25. I'd like to offer mine up for $10, including shipping to the U.S. Shipping outside the U.S. would be more.

Here's the product description:
The Present is a "clear makeup" for perfect, airbrushed skin. Formulated to be used as a last step prior to any makeup to form an invisible barrier that "seals in" moisture for chronically dry skin and active ingredients from treatment products while keeping out harmful environmental elements by acting like an invisible band-aid. It also contains lysozyme, a natural antimicrobial agent to keep skin radiantly "clear."

Please let me know if you're interested in any of these items. I'd be more than happy to take photos, if requested.

Also, if you're concerned about me as a seller, I have an excellent feedback rating over on makeupalley.com under the name "edenssixthday". Likewise, I do a ton of swapping/selling of BPAL here on LJ and have over 3 pages worth of positive feedback over HERE.
